SAICA, a multinational leader in paper manufacturing for corrugated carton in Spain, with more than 8,000 employees and presence in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, UK and Ireland, distributed into three business areas: paper fabrication (PAPER), recovery of recyclable materials (NATUR), and corrugated carton boxes (PACK), with a turnover of approximately 2.2 billion Euros, wants to incorporate in its GRADUATE PROGRAM: MECHANICAL ENGINEER. They want to develop you as a future leader in the Company, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in different areas (logistics, sales, technical operations, customer services, IS/IT). Your training will be completed by a structured programme of training and on-the-job coaching. They will train you to high standards in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, and you´ll receive training in interpersonal and personal effectiveness skills for tasks such as making presentations, managing client relationships, teamwork, … Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:To work as Mechanical Engineer in the mechanical maintenance department at a paper mill with due regard to safety, environment and quality. Define and follow up of all maintenance activities for mechanical equipment under his/her responsibility: corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance routines, planning of shutdowns, create work instruction, spare parts testing, and manage contractors’ activities. Develop sound knowledge and proactively drive continuous improvement, proposing alternatives and options to improve the efficiency of mechanical rotating machinery (rolls, gears, pulp cleaning devices) and pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Assist and support operation engineers in managing the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the paper mill. Academic Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Marine Engineering, or similar (mandatory). Specific training or final year project based on pneumatic or hydraulic systems or condition monitoring. Language Skills: English (mandatory). French and Spanish (valuable) Skills for the position: Client Orientation. Analytical Thinking. Innovation and Initiative. Eagerness for self-improvement Additional requirements for the position: Geographic mobility. Availability to change residence between countries where SAICA operates. Location Details: This position will be permanently based in Zaragoza, Spain.
